A program of orientation for the UT Libraries presented through FYS 101 one-shot class sessions. This programs serves a foundational experience to orient, introduce and ease levels of library and research anxiety for first year students. Breakout UT Libraries will be the instructional tool beginning Fall 2016.

Student Learning Outcomes generally include: 

• Able to Identify key library service points
• Will identify appropriate search options on library website
• Able to select the appropriate library service point for their information/ research/ service need
• Able to identify at least one way to communicate with a librarian
