A collaboration between the Office of Undergraduate Research and the University of Tennessee Libraries the Discovery Living Learning Community (LLC) serves to expose incoming freshmen and a limited number of upper undergraduates to a interdisciplinary community of practice. I work with the Director of the Office of Undergraduate Research and the UT Libraries Associate Dean for Learning, Research, and Engagement to design the curricular and co-curricular activities which the students residing in our sponsored LLC will take part in. My duties also include coordinating and delivering instruction via a First Year Studies (FYS) 129 course titled Introduction to Research.
